Adam Giles Levy is a singer/songwriter and musician from England, who much like someone else we reviewed earlier in the week, specifically Jonah Kagen, was inspired by fingerstyle guitar playing but has truly made the style his own, through his self taught guitar playing. Today, I will be reviewing his single ‘Legendary’ which was released on November 4th 2022, as part of his debut LP ‘Wake of Disarray’ which is being released by record label, Hillside Global.
‘Legendary’ opens softly, sustained guitar notes building, and then Levy’s melancholic vocals break through, balanced out by the harmony from the female vocalist. I like the building swell of the music, it has such weight and gravity to it. I really liked the layered strings of what I think was a violin, which are infused beneath the percussive beat and the beautiful vocals. I like music which can evoke strong emotions, this track could honestly make you weep. It’s so deep and resonant that it fills you up until you threaten to burst.
So that’s what I thought of Adam Giles Levy’s single ‘Legendary’ and if you want to check that out for yourself then head on over to Spotify. While you’re at it, make sure and show your support for the artist, and keep up to date with their latest goings on, by checking out their website and by following them on Facebook and Instagram.
