Single Review: Stefano May – Crazy

Stefano May is an Italian born, Miami based musician, both a singer/songwriter and highly talented, classically trained pianist, their background helps to shape the music they create, which blends soul, pop and classical into one fluid composition.

Weird coincidence, but this review will be going up alongside another Miami based musician, Moonlight Jones, and you can check that out here. Anyway, Stefano, is also a member of the LGBTQ+ community, and as you’ll all hopefully know if you’re a regular reader of this page, we are incredibly supportive of all artists, musicians and creatives, especially those who are part of the LGBTQ+ community, whether or not their work is influenced by or based around being a part of their community. Today, I will be reviewing ‘Crazy’, Stefano’s new single, which was released on 22nd September 2022.

‘Crazy’ opens with some resonant tones, and with his gorgeous voice, the track flows into a deep, sonorous melody that immediately pulls you down with it, and almost overwhelms you. I’ll admit, my emotions are always a little volatile, something about having ADHD means I feel things quite deeply, and almost instantly, and I was immediately impacted by the raw emotion you can feel in Stefano’s performance. I’m always a fan of piano in music, especially heavier, weight, emotional tracks like this, I mean after like the thousandth time listening to it Another Love by Tom Odell still hits so hard because of the piano melody infused throughout, and it’s a similar thing with Stefano’s track ‘Crazy’ which just reaches out and makes you feel. Overall, a very beautiful track, and I’m eager to hear more from him in the future.

So that’s what I thought of Stefano May’s single ‘Crazy’ and if you want to check that out for yourself then head on over to Spotify. While you’re at it, make sure and support the artist by following them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
