Single Review: Arden Cho – Clean (Hillsong UNITED Cover)

Arden Cho is a sensationally talented actress and musician, as well as a black belt in Judo to boot. Now I’ve talked about Cho before on the site and you are welcome to click here to read more reviews. But for those of you who don’t know who she is, I was first introduced to her when she starred on Teen Wolf as the Kitsune, Kira Yukimura. Which reminds me before I move on, I’ve also recently reviewed music from one of her Teen Wolf co-stars, Tyler Posey which you can check out here. But she’s also starred in Miss 2059, Chicago Med, and I am incredibly excited to see her performance as Ingrid Yun in the upcoming Netflix show, Partner Track (based on the novel of the same name by Helen Wan).

As I touched on above, she’s not just an actress but a musician, and I’ve covered her before, but today I will be reviewing her cover of ‘Clean’ by Hillsong UNITED, a Christian worship band formed in 1998 as part of the Youth Ministry of Hillsong Church.

Clean (Hillsong UNITED Cover)’ opens with big, flowing piano chords that support Cho’s beautiful voice, and as she carries on you are just carried away by her strong performance. I may or may not have talked about this previously, but I consider myself to be a spiritual person but not overtly religious, however when I heard music like this, especially faith driven songs like this one, I truly feel god’s presence, because to me God is Love, and songs like this and performer like Cho just fill my heart up so much. This was a breathtaking and soulful performance that was improved even more by the fantastic skills of Daniel Jang on the Keys.

So that’s what I thought of Arden Cho’s cover of Hillsong United’s song ‘Clean’ and you can check that out via the link above. Make sure and support the artist by following them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and by subscribing to their YouTube channel. You can also find Daniel Jang over on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
