Single Review: KTL – Home It Comes

KTL is an indie folk singer/songwriter and musician from the Bay area and today I’ll be reviewing their single ‘Home It Comes’ which was released on July 22nd 2022.

‘Home It Comes’ opens with a soft, acoustic guitar melody, which starts off simple, and builds in complexity very quickly, nothing too much, but just a subtle undercurrent of something busier, working beneath his soft, slow and superb vocals. I like the way he makes music. It’s got a sort of ambient quality to it, but a nice energy beneath it, and it really works. The track does begin to pick up though, vocal harmonies, and a percussive beat flesh out the core melody making it richer and even better. He has a real talent though, his voice is nice to listen to, and it suits the sort of folk infused music that he plays really well.

So that’s what I thought of KTL’s single ‘Home It Comes’ and if you want to check that out for yourself then head on over to Spotify. While you’re at it, make sure and support the artist by following them on Facebook and Instagram.
