Single Review: Trashed – Decay

Trashed are an emo punk rock trio from Bristol made up of Jimmy Embleton-Smith on Lead Vocals/Guitar, Sam Yesner on Vocals/Bass and Ben Wood on Drums. Today I will be reviewing their single ‘Decay’ which was released on April 29th 2022, and is off their upcoming album Happy In Hindsight which is due out later this year.

‘Decay’ hammers forward, a high energy string driven performance that bleeds into some top tier Vocals, you can feel passion and intensity in their delivery and the solid harmony between the two vocalists. The drums are also superb, it adds weight and texture to the track, and the result is a well balanced single, with highs and lows, intensity and melody, that have made me super excited for the album.

So that’s what I thought of Trashed and their single ‘Decay’ which you can check out over on Spotify. While you’re at it support the band by following them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
