So this isn’t the first time I’ve reviewed a wine selection from Kylie Minogue, you can check out my review of her Rosé by clicking here. I noted in my previous review that as what ostensibly started as a music blog, it was weird to review a wine by a decade spanning musician without also talking about her music, so to accompany that piece I also reviewed a recent release by the artist which you can check out here.
Anyway, Kylie launched her wine brand ‘Kylie Minogue Wines’ in collaboration with London based distributor Benchmark Drinks back in 2020. Her wine portfolio includes a Chardonnay, a Pinot Noir, A Sauvignon Blanc, and a Cava just to name a few.
Prosecco
Okay, so first off it has a really deep, fruity note on the nose which is really pleasing, without the sharp or bitter aroma that I’ve gotten from some other wines I’ve tried recently. It’s overall very airy and refreshing.
In terms of taste, it’s very fresh and light, with a subtle acidity to the base, but overall it’s very sharp and tangy and I could easily see myself polishing off the bottle myself because of how easily it goes down. I particularly enjoyed the tartness that was part of every sip, and how it blends out to match the very pleasing fruity notes I picked up when giving it a sniff earlier.
