Single Review: The Eves – Big Love

The Eves are an Edinburgh based pop duo made up of Caroline Gilmour and Marissa Keltie. Today, I will be reviewing their single ‘Big Love’ which was released on April 1st 2022.

‘Big Love’ opens with a sonorous and reverbed build that flows into a heavy bassline which perfectly supports the vocalist. They have rich and engaging voices that really catch you as a listener. I like the balance between the heavier, chorus sections with more energy and percussive notes, and the slower, softer sides. It really made the track work for me. The vocalist works so well together, layering and adding to one another perfectly. This is my first time reviewing The Eves but I will be keeping an eye out for them in the future.

So that’s what I thought of The Eves single ‘Big Love’ and if you want to check that out for yourself then head on over to Spotify. While you’re at it, make sure and support the group by following them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
