Single Review: Cloe Wilder – We’re Not Special

Cloe Wilder is a sensationally talented young singer/songwriter from Clearwater, Florida. If you’d like to learn more about the artist then you can click here. This isn’t the first time I’ve reviewed Wilder’s music, and you can check that out here. Today, however, I will be reviewing their single ‘We’re Not Special’ which was released on February 22nd 2022.

‘We’re Not Special’ kicks off with gentle, strumming, acoustic guitars which just kind of carry you across almost dreamily, until you are met with Wilder’s voice, which just fills you up. She has a genuine gift, and each song I hear from her is a product of increasing talent, experience and growth as an artist. This song is rich, melodic and a little bit sad and it just really works. I understand Cloe has an album in the works, due out in the near future, and I am more excited to hear it than ever because this track is just wonderful and touching in a way that not every song is.

So that’s what I thought of Cloe Wilder’s single ‘We’re Not Special’ and if you want to check that out for yourself then head on over to Spotify. While you’re at it, make sure and support the artist by following them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram by visiting their website.
