Single Review: Bhad Bhabie – Miss Understood

Danielle Bregoli, more commonly known as Bhad Bhabie, is an American rapper and internet personality from Boynton Beach, Florida. She first became known after an appearance on Dr. Phil in September 2016 went viral online. She managed to capitalise on that attention and turn it into a very successful musical career, becoming the youngest female rapper ever to appear on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. I have covered Bhabie’s music for the site before and you can check that out here. In September 2021 she launched her own record label ‘Bhad Music’ from which she will be releasing her upcoming debut EP, of which this track which was released on September 17th 2021, is a lead single.

‘Miss Understood’ has a sort of distortion fueled melody, like a track of fast forward, it’s really cool and works well with the track. Bhabie has really matured as a vocalist, she has a strong voice, and as I’ve discussed before, she delivers the lyrics well. She manages to balance the natural melody of her voice with the quick fire delivery that’s typical of rap. I really enjoyed this, and I’m continually impressed with her ability to inject emotional depth and a little bit of attitude into her lines, and how complex some of the lyrics are.

So that’s what I thought of Bhad Bhabie’s single ‘Miss Understood’ and if you want to check that out for yourself then head on over to Spotify. While you’re at it, make sure and support the artist by visiting their website and by following them on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube. Bhabie has also recently started an Onlyfans account, which you can check out here, if that’s something that interests you.
