KEANA is a synth pop singer/songwriter from Los Angeles, California and today I will be reviewing her single ‘Lilac’ which was released on 20th October 2020.
‘Lilac’ opens with building and overlapping synthy trilling notes that flow perfectly into KEANA’s vocals, her voice, bright and airy and with a dreamlike quality that just draws you in from the get go. It has a curious energy to it, not quite fast, not quite slow, just a very even tempo, with highs and lows throughout to add some complexity and diversity to the overall melody. This is a song to get lost in, and I urge you to come get lost with me.
