Single Review: Claire Reneé – Red Lights

Claire Reneé is a classically trained dancer and singer/songwriter, who is currently based in Los Angeles, California. She performs a fusion of Neo-Soul and R&B and today I will be reviewing her single ‘Red Lights’ which was released on April 7th 2021 as part of the album ‘Wings’.

‘Red Lights’ opens with a sustained and repeated piano chord, with light percussive overlaid on top, it builds and slowly fleshes out until Claire sings and you are just blown away instantly. She has an airy vocal quality that really fits with the track, and yet her voice is not without power. I really enjoyed this track, and listened to it a good few times before sitting down to do this review. It just has a nice, well flowing vibe to it that captures a listener.

So that’s what I thought of Claire Reneé’s single ‘Red Lights’ and if you want to check that out for yourself then head on over to Spotify. While you’re at it, make sure and support the artist by following them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
