Corpse Husband is an American YouTuber and musician, he is perhaps best known for his horror story narration videos on YouTube, he himself has a preference for reading true horror stories, either shared by fans or from subreddits such as r/NoSleep and r/LetsNotMeet. He is also noted for his very deep voice, which lends itself well to video narration as well as music. Anyway, today I will be reviewing his single ‘E-Girls Are Ruining My Life!’ which was released on 30th September 2020.
‘E-Girls Are Ruining My Life!’ opens with a percussive beat, overlaid over the top are fast delivered vocals. I was aware before reviewing Corpse that he has an incredibly deep voice, and the grit and depth of his voice is distinctive and lends extra weight to the track. I liked the balance added by Savage Ga$p who also has a deeper voice but one which isn’t as prominent, he provides a counterpoint to the rather heavy bass of Corpse’s vocals without going too far the other way and upsetting the dark and gritty beat of the overall track.
