Single Review: Heavy Broken Machines – We Are Here

Heavy Broken Machines - We Are Here Artwork

Heavy Broken Machines are an Alt-rock/Darkpop four piece made up of Dav on Vocals, Graham on Guitars, Kev on Bass and Graham on Drums/Percussion. Today, I will be reviewing their single ‘We Are Here’ which was released on the 16th April 2021.

‘We Are Here’ opens with a deep, gritty instrumental backing, a powerful fusion of guitar, bass and percussion, with the strings taking over a little more as the vocalist kicks in. This is a heavy track, with a lot of intensity and drive about it. I love how much the vocalists just throw themselves in throughout the track, equally bringing their own energy and power to this already amazing track. This track evokes a sort of industrial rock vibe, like a rave at an abandoned factory. You feel all that personality and edge throughout the entire track.

So that’s what I thought of Heavy Broken Machines single ‘We Are Here’ and if you want to check that out for yourself then head on over to Spotify. While you’re at it make sure and support the band by following them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram or by visiting their website.
