Robert Ball is a Toronto based LGBT+ singer/songwriter and today I will be reviewing his R&B infused track ‘I Need A Man’ which was released on the 30th June 2021.
‘I Need A Man’ opens with a twinkling note, backed up by some raw percussion before merging into a deep sultry beat that is just full of low tones and horns that back up Robert’s rich and phenomenal vocals. You feel the desire and want in his words, the energy of the track isn’t understated and yet it still has the vibe of a classic make-out jam. All smooth, perfect for getting you in the mood. I thoroughly enjoyed it, it wasn’t afraid to have fun, and struck a balance between something that’s funky and funny. I hadn’t heard of Robert Ball prior to this track but I will be keeping an eye out for him after hearing this awesome tune and I wish him luck in his pursuit of a man who treats him right.
So that’s what I thought of Robert Ball’s single ‘I Need A Man’ and if you want to check that out for yourself then head on over Spotify. Make sure and support the artist by following them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and by visiting their website.
