Tyler Rojas, also known as Rohas, is a Bakersfield based LGBTQ artist, I’ve had the pleasure of reviewing him twice before and you can check that out here and here. Today, I will be reviewing his latest single ‘Working on My Birthday’ which was released on January 1st 2021.
‘Working on My Birthday’ opens with some light, synthy tones that fade before being met by the next tone, as they meld into the richer more complex melody, that incorporates strings, and gentle percussion, and of course Rohas’s tremendous voice, which is melodious and blends wonderfully with the melancholic rhythms of his track. From my above reviews you can tell I’m already a fan of Rohas, but if there was any doubt, this track confirms it, he creates emotive, and powerful tracks that I am glad to review.
So that’s what I thought of Tyler Rojas’s single ‘Working on My Birthday’ and if you want to check that out for yourself then head on over to Spotify. Make sure and support the artist by following them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
