Single Review: Artie Ziff – Drive

Artie Ziff - Drive Artwork

Artie Ziff are a three piece indie outfit, originally from the Highlands and Islands, but now based in Glasgow, they are made up of Rion Mckerron on Vocals/Guitars, Alex Kenny on Bass and Max McKerron on Drums & Backing Vocals. Today I will be reviewing their single ‘Drive’ which was released on April 24th 2020.

‘Drive’ opens with a few seconds of slower, more muted guitar notes, before launching into something more intense and high energy. Sharp bass, guitars and a consistent percussive beat building and expanding throughout the track, particularly during the heavier portions of the track, and blending with the powerful vocals to create a frenetic melody that has me certain I will be keeping an eye out for this group in the future.

So that’s what I thought of Artie Ziff’s single ‘Drive’ and if you want to check that out for yourself head on over to Spotify. While you’re at it make sure and support the band by following them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram or by visiting their website
