Single Review: Matthew Gibb – I’m The Reason

Matthew Gibb - I’m The Reason Artwork

Matthew Gibb is a 20-year-old singer/songwriter from Glasgow and today I will be reviewing his single ‘I’m The Reason’ which was released on the 10th December 2020.

‘I’m The Reason’ opens with a building backing beat that merges with Gibb’s powerful and soulful vocals, that blend perfectly with the guitar. This has a softer vibe, but a bit of harder energy behind it which really makes you take notice, and will certainly have me keeping an eye out for the artist in the future. I like how it builds in speed, never becoming too fast, but becoming more rich and complex as a melody that just delivers a knockout punch of a performance.

So that’s what I thought of Matthew Gibb’s single ‘I’m The Reason’ and if you want to check that out for yourself then head on over to Spotify. Make sure and support the artist by following them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
