Zipten is back up to his old tricks with his new release, ‘Volcano Sunset’. Taking us far from the winter months, this new release takes us to a sunny destination with an Ibiza style soundscape.
Kicking off, Zipten hits the mix with a firm smash, a brass arrangement leaps out, and a groovy beat gets us fastened in for the ride. A slick, funky guitar rhythm then appears with a myriad of sounds echoing out in the background. Also, as with his previous hits, Zipten regularly delves into fresh corners, and the track often takes a new course.
Also, I enjoy that Zipten has given us a longer delivery. Furthermore, his previous hit, ‘Cube Escape‘, came just that little bit too short but this one sits at a generous 3 minutes and 10 seconds, which I firmly believe is a wise choice. It has excitement flowing from it, and it would have been a shame for this one to have been short also.
As the track progresses, the pace picks up, and the mix becomes even more profound with a melodic synth driving the way forward. Also, Zipten makes full use of the chorus effect with it leaping out on many occasions. However, I would enjoy a backing harmony to make the mix. Nevertheless, Zipten thrives on these types of instrumentals, therefore, who can blame him for neglecting the good old vocal?
Overall, another great release from Zipten and 2021 is looking very bright for the rising producer, and I am eager to discover what else he has up his sleeve.
