Single Review: Lautier – Paris

Lautier - Paris Artwork

Lautier are an alternative soul trio based in London made up of Conor Cleere on Guitar, Sam Ainsworth on Vocals and Alf Tingey on Bass. Today I will be reviewing their single ‘Paris’ which was released on September 18th 2020.

‘Paris’ opens with some light percussion, before acoustic guitars flow in around it, the vocals come in next. The rich, melodic voices sweep you away, made better only by the harmonies between the lead and backing vocalists. I loved the horns, and the guitars, everything works so well as part of the overall melody, and even though the track is fairly fast paced, you get lost in it, like it’s a slower track. A very impressive track, that has ensured I will keep an eye out for the group in the future.

So that’s what I thought about Lautier’s single ‘Paris’ and if you want to check that out for yourself then head on over to Spotify. Make sure and support the band by following them on Facebook and Instagram.
