Jenny Banai is a Vancouver based singer/songwriter who describes their music as Living Room Folk-Pop and today I will be reviewing their single ‘Paper Plain’ which was released on August 21st 2020.
‘Paper Plain’ opens soft, with ambient chords melting into light percussion before Jenny’s voice just flows forward, practically angelic, powerful and clear and just amazing to listen to. I like that you can get so lost in her voice that you don’t immediately notice the gradual pick up in speed that builds right up to the end, granted it never becomes too fast, but it does build nonetheless.
So that’s what I thought of Jenny Banai’s single ‘Paper Plain’ and if you want to check that out for yourself then head on over to Spotify. Make sure and support the artist by following them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram or by visiting their website.
