Danielle Bregoli a.k.a Bhad Bhabie is an American rapper from Boynton Beach, Florida who first came to the public eye after an appearance on Dr. Phil back in 2016, after which she capitalised on the media attention to jump start her career in rap and as an internet personality. Today I will be reviewing her single ‘Bestie’, the original version featured Kodak Black, however after certain remarks he made, Bhabie released an updated version of the track with Houston based rapper Megan Thee Stallion instead.
Bestie (ft. Megan Thee Stallion)’ opens with a melodic vocal intro, that blends with the synthy instrumentals really well. Bhabie’s rapping sections are tight as usual, and this one has a much lighter energy, it’s more fun, which is really nice to hear. Megan’s vocal sections are a nice counterpoint to Bhabie’s, her voice is deeper and adds a harder vibe to the whole track. The song is relatively short, but it’s punchy and sharp and I genuinely enjoyed listening to it.
So that’s what I thought of Bhad Bhabie’s single ‘Bestie (ft. Megan Thee Stallion)’ and if you want to check that out then head on over to YouTube. Make sure and support the artist by following them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, and keep up to date with them by checking out their website.
