Single Review: Rather Raccoon – Golden Days

Rather Raccoon - Golden Days Artwork

Rather Raccoon are a four piece punk rock group from Bavaria and today I’ll be reviewing their single ‘Golden Days’ which was released on November 15th 2019.

‘Golden Days’ opens with a busy but not overly fast combination of guitar, bass and drums that slowly build in speed and intensity as the song progresses. I enjoyed the vocals immensely, they have the perfect cadence and quality for the track, and sound exactly like what punk music sounds like in my head. I thoroughly enjoyed this whole track and I’m glad I decided to check them out after seeing them in the related bands section of Facebook when I was reviewing another German punk group. I strongly urge you to check out Rather Raccoon today, because they are rather good. And with that terrible attempt at wordplay. Goodbye.

So that’s what I thought of Rather Raccoons single ‘Golden Days’ which you can check out on Spotify. Make sure and follow the band on Facebook and Instagram.
