Single Review: Rohas – The Valley

Rohas - The Valley Artwork

Rohas (or Tyler Rojas) is a singer/songwriter and concept artist from Bakersfield, California. This isn’t the first time I’ve reviewed his music either, you can check out what I thought of his EP ‘I’m Not Okay’ by clicking here. Today, however, I will be reviewing his single ‘The Valley’ which was released on the 17th July 2020.

‘The Valley’ opens with some soft synthy chords, that work well with Rohas whose voice is softer and melodic. I like the energy of this track, it’s soft and slow overall, but there’s an even pace to the track, like a just barely contained explosion of emotion. Perhaps that’s just me though. I was really excited to check this out after reviewing his EP last year and Rohas’s new track doesn’t disappoint, it’s another touchingly personal experience wrapped up in music that connects you right to the heart of the issue.

So that’s what I thought of Rohas’s single ‘The Valley’ and if you want to check that out for yourself then head on over to Spotify. Make sure and support the artist by following them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
