SPIRITBOX are a five piece alternative/indie band from The Netherlands, I’ve reviewed them before and you can check that out here, here and here. Today I will be reviewing their latest release ‘A Strange Loss’ which was released on September 25th 2020.
‘A Strange Loss’ opens with a rising and heavy backing tune, counterpointed by light piano keys it eases us in well and the vocals rise up, clear and profound, I liked the balance between the male and female vocals, I think they worked well together and both brought specific things to the track. As I’ve mentioned before when reviewing these tracks, they blend heavy and dark with light really well, the result is a track that’s just amazing.
So that’s what I thought of SPIRITBOX and their new single ‘A Strange Loss’, if you want to check that out for yourself then head on over to Spotify. Make sure and support the band by following them on Facebook and Twitter.
