Beth Macari is a Newcastle based singer-songwriter and soulstress. This isn’t the first time I’ve reviewed their music, check out my review of their cover of ‘Sweet Transvestite (from the Rocky Horror Picture Show)’ by clicking here and their original song ‘One More Time’ by clicking here. This track ‘I Am’ is the third part of a five part project, and you can check out the first and second parts here and here respectively. Today as I mentioned above, I will be reviewing ‘I Am’ which was released on the 16th July 2020.
‘I Am’ opens up with light, building guitar that flows perfectly into Beth’s rich and sensational voice. As you can see above, I’ve reviewed her music before and honestly I keep setting my expectations higher with each new release and she not only meets them but smashes them totally. Beth Macari is an amazing performer and this song is a powerful tribute to self-love that really resonated with me. I honestly hope I get a chance to hear Beth perform live because she has a voice that could blow the roof off and I’d welcome hearing it in person.
So that’s what I thought of Beth Macari’s single ‘I Am’ and if you want to check that out then head on over to YouTube. Make sure and support the artist by following them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
