Beth Macari is a fantastically talented singer/songwriter from Newcastle. I have reviewed their music before, and I’m very proud to show you what I had to say, which you can do by clicking here, here, here, here and here. The latter three tracks are part of a five part project by Beth, of which this track ‘How To Love’ is part four. I have enjoyed the previous instalments immensely and I’m sure I’ll feel the same about this one. Anyway, ‘How To Love’ was released on the 10th September 2020 and here’s what I thought.
‘How To Love’ opens with heavy guitars and lighter percussion that brilliantly supports Beth’s soulful voice. I’m amazed how she managed to have a voice you can get lost in, as well as one that forces you to take notice. It’s at this point, I’m thinking I honestly don’t know what to expect from Part 4 because each part has been tremendous thus far and I’m curious how/If they’ll be able to top what they’ve done already. My guess is yes and I look forward to hearing it.
