Single Review: JD Allan – Bus Stop

JD Allan - Bus Stop

JD Allan is a Glasgow based singer-songwriter and musician and a former member of the noughties Glaswegian rock band The Blimp. Today, I will be reviewing their single ‘Bus Stop’ which was released on the 27th March 2020.

‘Bus Stop’ opens with a nice mix of strings and percussion, a nice even tempo that’s easy to bop along with. JD Allan’s voice just kinda washes over you, light and melodious in a way that’s just good to listen to. Overall I like the energy of this track, never having heard the artist before, I wasn’t sure what to expect of a song called ‘Bus Stop’ but it really works, and i’ll definitely be checking out the artist in the future.

So that’s what I thought of JD Allan’s single ‘Bus Stop’ and if you want to check that out for yourself then head on over to Spotify. Make sure and support the artist by following them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
