Single Review: Vialetters – Ulysses

Vialetters - Ulysses

Vialetters are a band from Hull made up of Connor Flanagan, Jimmy Williams, Ben Smith, Ollie Mudd and Elliott Gibson. Today, I will be reviewing their single ‘Ulysses’ which you can check out below.

‘Ulysses’ kicks off quickly, immediately picking up a nice high energy beat, this slightly tapers off as the vocals kick in, settling into a more subdued melody. That being said, the speed and delivery of the vocals still has pace and urgency, which is backed up by the more even backing instrumentals. Of course, this builds throughout, moments of explosive activity and rhythm are interspersed throughout the track. Overall it’s a truly impressive track, a nice balance and melody, strong vocals and it’s easily encouraged me to check out more from the artist in the future.

So that’s what I thought of the Vialetters single ‘Ulysses’ and if you want to check that out then head on over to Spotify. Make sure and support the artist by following them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
