Single Review: Nax – Angeles de Hielo

Nax - Angeles de Hielo

Nax are an alternative music groupm from Buenos Aires, Argentina made up of Nicolás Castello, Juan Marcos Hernández and Gabriel Hernández. This isn’t the first time I’ve reviewed the band either, and you can check out my previous reviews here and here. Today, however I will be reviewing their single ‘Angeles de Hielo’ which was released on December 8th 2019.

‘Angeles de Hielo’ opens with a vibrant, atmospheric theme that swells, even as percussion and guitars are placed over it. It has a nice, resonant quality that just washes back and forth over the listener. The vocals have a distinct dream like quality, that merges perfectly with the backing instrumentals. The result is this profoundly complex combination of noises that blend to create a rich musical experience.

So that’s what I thought of Nax’s single ‘Angeles de Hielo’ and if you would like to check it out for yourself then head on over to Bandcamp. Make sure and support the band by following them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
