Springfield is a five piece indie/rock group from Whitehaven made up of Rhys Pritchard on Vocals/Guitar, Lewis Pritchard on Guitar, Ben Tucker on Bass and Mitchell Sloan on Drums. Today I will be reviewing their single ‘Liquorice’ which was released on March 6th 2020.
‘Liquorice’ kicks off fast, a physical blast of intensity hits you, and then slightly eases off as the vocals kick in, I love their rough, deep quality, and the harmonies between the various voices were a particular highlight. I loved the energy of this one, it’s just one of those tracks that you can’t help take notice, and much like a lot of tracks I’ve been reviewing lately, I’ve only just heard them for the first time, but this track blew me away so much that I’ll be keeping an eye on them in the future.
So that’s what I thought of Springfield’s single ‘Liquorice’ and if you want to check that out for yourself then head on over to Spotify. Make sure and support the band by following them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
