Single Review: BodyLanguage – Aged Like Wine

BodyLanguage Are a Boston based duo whose music spans various genres, today I will be reviewing their single ‘Aged Like Wine’. 

‘Aged Like Wine’ opens with an ambient, acoustic guitar that flows forward, joining it is an incredible voice, and then a second, their harmony rich and well practiced. The light percussion brilliantly backing up their voice, then both increase in intensity making for an even more impressive musical experience. I can’t decide actually whether I prefer the vocals with or without the heavier backdrop because on its own they get a chance to really stand-out but with the heavier drums and strings behind them it creates a more complex sound. Either way I’m glad I decided to review this track because it was bloody brilliant.
