Steve Hewitt is an alternative folk rock musician and singer-songwriter from Kent, this isn’t the first time I’ve reviewed him either, and you can check that out here. But today I will be reviewing his single ‘Pieces’, which is off his 2019 album ‘Bigger Than Words’.
‘Pieces’ opens with an easy going guitar section, that merges well with his vocals, and I’m sure I said this in my previous review but Hewitt’s voice is superb, it has a strong cadence and a vibe that works especially well for this type of song. I was uniquely impressed by this track, especially watching the music video alongside it, you get such a strong impression from it, it’s clearly a very emotional track, and an expertly performed on at that, but it’s also not afraid to be a little bit silly, it’s taking a look at all the trials and tribulations of life, and it was just a treat to be able to listen to/watch.
So that’s what I thought of Steve Hewitt’s single ‘Pieces’ and if you want to check that out for yourself then head on over to YouTube. Make sure and support the artist by following them on Facebook and Twitter.
