Single Review: The Suncharms – Monster Club

The Suncharms - Monster Club Artwork

The Suncharms are an indie/shoegaze band from Sheffield made up of Marcus Palmer on Vocals, Matt Neale on Guitar, John Malone on Guitar, Richard Farnell on Bass and Chris Ridley on Drums. This isn’t my first time reviewing them either, and you can check that out here. Today I’ll be reviewing their single ‘Monster Club’.

‘Monster Club’ opens with powerful wind, and the creaking of an open door, before launching into a complex melody that just fills you up, with it’s smooth, swaying notes. This is a song you can get lost in, filled with energy, vibrant and yet there’s a calming, emotional centre, and you just get caught up in it.

So that’s what I thought of The Suncharms single ‘Monster Club’ and if you want to check that out then head on over to Bandcamp. Make sure and support the band by following them on Facebook and Twitter.
