Jenna Nicole Mourey is a American YouTube personality. She is more commonly known as Jenna Marbles, having named herself after her male chihuahua called Mr. Marbles. Jenna Marbles is the first social media star to have a wax figure displayed at Madame Tussauds Museum in New York City. As of September 2019, her channel has approximately 20 million subscribers. She will often film videos alongside her boyfriend Julien Solomita, with whom she also hosts a podcast called The Jenna & Julien Podcast.
1. Cutting Soap For My Dog While He Wears A Turtleneck
So something about this video is just extremely relaxing, I’ve probably watched it about twenty times, at least since it was first uploaded roughly a year ago. I think being honest I just really like seeing Kermit dressed up all smart in a turtleneck, it’s super adorable. But the entire video is just completely stress free, low energy but not boring, and it’s just a fun little video of a lovely woman spending time with her pets.
2. I Want To Be Tall
I commented on the above video that one of the things that made me appreciate it was that it was chill and low energy, this one is completely different, filled with a manic vibe, as Jenna along with a begrudging Julien attempt to grow at least seven inches. It’s super funny, has some sweet moments between Jenna and Julien and I will never not have the ‘I wanna be Tall’ song stuck in my head.
3. I Made That Awful Jeans Chair
I really enjoyed this video, not only does it confront one of those life hacky type things, proving how unrealistic they are in reality but also Jenna just seems genuinely beaten by it, broken at the end, much like the titular chair.
4. Turning My Boyfriend Into A Bratz Doll
Okay this video is entertaining, there’s no doubt about that, it’s fun, it has Jenna and Julien spending some quality time together which is always good but it’s also super unsettling seeing Julien become a Bratz, it’s easy to see why several fans made horror edits of this video.
5. My Boyfriend Cooks My Favorite Meal
So this video is great, not only can you see how much Jenna and Julien love each other, but I feel like sometimes Julien is the human embodiment of ADHD, which I like because it means he’s very much like me and it’s truly amazing to watch him cook because he’s clearly a competent chef, as anyone who has watched ‘Aries Kitchen‘ will tell you. But at the same time especially in videos with Jenna his inner chaos will just come out. It’s amazing and I really enjoyed this video.
6. Treating My Dogs Like Babies For A Day
What I really like about this video other than how obvious it is that Jenna and the dogs had a lot of fun was that as a dog owner and dog lover I could easily see myself doing the same If I had the money to spend on baby stuff just for the video.
7. My Boyfriend Does My Voiceover
This was the first video I saw of Jenna’s that featured Julien and it made me fall in love with him instantly, he narrates it so casually and he’s obviously not super confident about her make-up routine or makeup in general but he nonetheless goes for it, and makes it funny.
8. Buying My Dogs Everything They Touch
This video is fun, and I always enjoy the episodes where the focus is them spending time with their dogs. I’m still mad they didn’t buy Mr. Marbles his own cat tower but they all seem to have had a good day so I’ll let it slide.
9. I Gave Myself A Claire’s Makeover
I still regularly rewatch this one, sure there are others on this list that objectively I like more but this one is great. It’s funny. It has Jenna in her element trying new things and just talking to the audience. Also I like that Julien got his own snap bracelets, which is feels like a case of life imitating art cause whenever Tori B Bearly goes to Claire’s I have to get something too and last time we were in I got a snap bracelet which I promptly broke slapping it on too hard. But yeah Jenna trying on all the stuff and Julien commenting felt real and it didn’t come across like product placement. Also I can’t watch this video without thinking about Jenna Tamera, which I first saw in episode four of Jenna’s series Meme Review.
10. Reading Mean Comments About My Dogs
So I am not usually okay with being mean to dogs, but in this case the dogs seem weirdly involved in the whole thing, it’s super hilarious and shows just how much the fans love both Jenna and her dogs. You should check this and its follow up.
