Single Review: Foreignfox – Birthday Flowers

Foreignfox - Birthday Flowers Artwork

Foreignfox are a four piece alternative rock group based in Dunfermline, Scotland and are made up of Jonny Watt, Lewis Hamilton, Nick Hernandez and David McCulloch. Today I’ll be reviewing their track ‘Birthday Flowers’ which came out on the 15th March 2019.

‘Birthday Flowers’ has a nice atmospheric intro that breaks into a dark and heavy synthy beat, it works well with the vocals which are strong, clear and engaging. I like the mix of speed and tempo, it makes for an overall more interesting song. I especially like the vocals during the faster sections, the vocalist’s voice sounds even better when they push it just that little bit more.

So that’s what I thought of Foreignfox’s single ‘Birthday Flowers’ and if you want to check that out for yourself then head on over to Spotify. Make sure to also support the band by following them on Facebook and Twitter.
