Single Review: Michael Jablonka – Papier Mache

Michael Jablonka - Papier Mache Artwork

Michael Jablonka is a singer-songwriter from London, and today I’ll be reviewing his track ‘Papier-Mache’.

‘Papier-Mache’ kicks off with a vibrant guitar section that merges perfectly with the percussion, and Jablonka’s vocals which suit the track perfectly, they have a very unique quality to them, and I enjoyed the balance between the instrumentals and the vocals considerably. I’m not sure if he is harmonizing with himself (which can be done via a variety of techniques and software) or singing with another vocalist, but the almost harmonic quality of the vocals really worked for me. Additionally there is an amazing guitar riff 2 minutes and 24 seconds into the track that for me knocked it up from something really good, to something truly great.

So that’s what I thought of ‘Papier-Mache’ by Michael Jablonka and if you want to check that out then head on over to Spotify. And you can support the artist by following him on Facebook and Twitter.
