Single Review: Panic State – System Kings

Panic State - System Kings Artwork

Panic State are an Alt-Rock trio from London made up of Tom Horton on Vocals/Bass guitar, Scott Dunleavy on Guitar and Daniel Tweddle on Drums. Today I’ll be reviewing their latest release ‘System Kings’ which was released on 29th March 2019.

‘System Kings’ has a great hammering bass/guitar intro, it leads you into the track perfectly, the vocals are great as well, a little softer, and melodic against the sharper tones of the guitars, it creates a really nice counterpoint that for me really brings the whole track together. I love tracks that have energy like this as well, basically, the speed/tempo are slow enough to work for slow moments, for introspection and deep thinking, but fast and hard enough, that it can equally just hammer forward, all momentum and passion, it’s perfectly balanced to really suit any need.

So that’s what I thought of Panic State’s single ‘System Kings’ and if you want to check it out then head on over to Spotify. Also make sure and support the band by following them on Facebook and Twitter.
