This review is from a meal we had at Cafe Koko, Kilmarnock on Wednesday 18th September 2019. Enjoy!
Before we get started you can check out their Menu, for an idea of the prices and food on offer.
So instead of ordering a full meal we decided to just order a dessert this time. So this review might not be as helpful as if we’d ordered something more substantial but I can still talk about the atmosphere, the service and the quality of what we did order so make sure and check it out.
Thomas: The carrot cake was perfect, soft and every bite was delicious. The middle layer of cream boosted the desert even more and it went perfectly with my latte.
Victoria: Tasty as heck, it was moist without being cloying, and flavourful without being overpowering. It went well with my cup of tea, and I also liked that it came with a little bit of tablet.
Thomas: My Latte was good, it tasted dark and heavy on the palate. Not too bitter, but rich and flavourful like a good coffee should be. Also I love that the hot drinks come with a little bit of tablet.
The staff were quick to respond to us coming into the cafe, and we were served promptly after ordering. The staff were also friendly, and happy enough to chat.
The decor of the establishment is really nice, a blend of trendy and modern with plenty of space so that even during a rush you can still find some space to eat in comfort and relative privacy.
You can find Cafe Koko on Facebook so make sure and give them a follow. Lastly, this review was written by Thomas Neil and Victoria Anderson so click on one of those links to check out more from those authors.
