So I’m making more of an effort to cover news events, but because I have no oversight I get to have a little fun with what I talk about, that means rather than the mundane and ordinary, I get to cover things like the event I’m going to talk about today.
On Saturday 10th August 2019, the Yoker Bowling Club in Glasgow will host a Hamster Show, the event in question is organised and run by Amberhill Hamstery (a hobby breeder of Syrian Hamsters) in conjunction with The National Hamster Council (who are the governing body for the hamster fancy in the United Kingdom).
The doors open at 10:30am and the pet show judging is at 2pm, with at least 24 Syrians and 4 Dwarf Hamsters entered so far, it’s shaping up to be an awesome event. You are welcome to bring your own little hamster along for the show, you can even have them entered into the judging at a cost of £1 per pet. I should also mention that the actual event is completely free, and so if you can make it, then it’s well worth it, especially since you’ll get to spend time with all those friendly little rodents.
Additionally you’ll get to see a whole host of different colours and species of hamster, all of whom are vying for top spot at the judging table. So please feel free to send us your photos of your furry friends, and make sure to head along to the first Hamster Show in Glasgow.
