Reardon Love are a four piece New Wave/Brit Pop band from Hull made up of Matt Fletcher on Guitar/Vocals, Josh Chesman on Synth/Guitar, Dan Wilby on Bass Guitar and Jed Pearson on Drums/Percussion. Today I’ll be reviewing their debut single ‘Sweet Brandon Teena (Respond To Me)’.

‘Sweet Brandon Teena (Respond To Me)’ has a really tight bassline for an intro that merges with some sweet guitars and builds with percussion into a nice, complex little beat that perfectly supports the top notch vocals. This track has a nice rhythm and energy to it and you just kind of get carried away. I listened to it a half dozen times while cleaning …party animal that I am and it’s as good for activity as it is for just relaxing and letting wash over you. Although the energy and intensity are obviously more suited to the former.

So that’s what I thought about Reardon Love’s single ‘Sweet Brandon Teena (Respond To Me)’ and if you want to check that out then head on over to Spotify. While you’re at it support the group by following them on Facebook and Twitter.
