Adhimi ‘Addi’ Stewart known as Mindbender Supreme, is a musician and hip-hop artist from Toronto, Canada. He is apparently well know in the Toronto rap scene, where he’s usually either performing or attending. A rapper and music Journalist, Mindbender Supreme has a wide and diverse range of interests and talents both musically and broadly speaking. Today I’m going to be reviewing his release ‘Challenge Day’ which dropped on August 28th 2018.
‘Challenge Day’ just explodes into being, a lot of harsh energy and noise that works perfectly to generate this very specific mood, that works well for a song called ‘Challenge Day’, now this was my first exposure to the artist but I was amazed by his verbal skill, how well put together the verses were, the narrative he created and the spectacular things he managed to fit into just 1 minute and 47 seconds. Since I first received this for submission he’s released an Album called ‘Journey Into Sound: New Colors. New Dimensions. New Values’ on which this track is featured and I thoroughly suggest you not only check this track out but the full album, because Mindbender Supreme is a talented and versatile musician/rapper who really understands how to drop a beat, and how to spit a rhyme. I cannot wait to hear more from him.
