Single Review: Primes – Don’t Forget Your Memories

Primes single 'Don't Forget Your Memories' Artwork

Primes are a three piece alternative rock from Central Scotland made up of Ollie Kitchen, Sarah Monteith-Skelton and Reece Ryan. Today I’ll be reviewing their new single ‘Don’t Forget Your Memories’.

‘Don’t Forget Your Memories’ kicks off strong with a building note, that breaks into a tight bassline and some spectacular vocals. A point can be made that I tend to be positive in these reviews but when you get submissions like this one it isn’t hard because they just catch you off guard with how awesome they are, and this truly is an example of one of the best. It’s hard to pick out exactly what impressed me so much, but basically it already sounded like it was some headlining act, there was nothing overdone about it but it just had that star quality that i guarantee will take them to the top.

So that’s what I thought of Primes single ‘Don’t Forget Your Memories’ and if you want to check it out for yourself then head on over to Spotify. Also make sure and support the band by following them on Facebook and Twitter.
