Cloe Wilder is a 12-year-old sad/pop singer-songwriter from Tampa, Florida and today I’ll be reviewing her cover of Breathin by Ariana Grande. If you want more from the artist then check out this other review I did and while you’re at it check out this Interview I did with her.
‘Breathin’ was not a track I was familiar with before I set out to do this review, so I checked out the original before listening to Cloe’s track so I could make a fairer assessment, and after listening to it, I’m more sure that ever that Cloe is truly going places, she manages to capture a more sorrowful version of the track, taking the original and truly making it her own. The original being much faster, whereas Cloe’s version is slow, but both are packed with a passion that’s undeniable. In fact listening to just the lyrics, I truly think the song works more with this energy and rhythm to it, but either way I think Cloe’s powerful voice is going to make her a star.
So that’s what I thought of Cloe Wilder’s cover of Breathin’ by Ariana Grande and if you want to check that out then head on over to YouTube. And you can support the artist by following them on Facebook and Twitter.
