Single Review: Harker Moon – Muma Says

Harker Moon 'Muma Says' Artwork

Harker Moon are a five piece soul/rock and roll group from London made up of Tommy Down on Guitar/ Vocals, Hal Briggs on Bass, Olly Jay on Guitar, Joe Caplin on Piano and Ben Phillips on Drums.

‘Muma Says’ opens slowly, some gentle keys, supporting Tommy Down’s voice well, it doesn’t take long for the some to start building, it has this amazing rhythm and melody, kind of quirky and that alone kept me listening. I was truly impressed with this song, and I’m so glad it was sent to me to review, because it’s one of those tracks I know I’ll listen to again in the future, it’s just grips you, and it does so through sheer quality rather than just by using one or two tight hooks, like some catchy tracks do. I featured this on a recent Spotify playlist and I suggest if you haven’t already check this track out because you will not regret it.

So that’s what I thought of Harker Moon’s track ‘Muma Says’ and if you want to check that out for yourself then head on over to Soundcloud. And don’t forget to follow the band on Facebook and Twitter.
