Lisa Kowalski is an 18 year old musician, she started performing four years ago busking in Paisley, and since then she’s released her debut EP ‘Free Spirits’ which dropped in April 2017 with some help from Paisley 2021. And has a second EP lined up for release in 2019. Today however I’ll be reviewing her track ‘I Do’ which was about the end of a relationship, the track itself got Lisa through to the finals of Salute UK Music Maker competition. If you want to find out more about Lisa then check out this interview I did with her a few weeks ago, but for now, check out my review.
‘I Do’ opens with some soft piano chords that resonate well with her powerful and haunting voice, from the opening note I already knew I was going to like this track, it’s just one of those that pull on the heartstrings, and yet that’s not why you like it, instead you are just in awe of Lisa’s voice and her talent. Most if not all of us have experienced a break up or some sort of heartache in our life, but it takes someone special to make beauty out of that upset, and so I truly admire Lisa Kowalski and her track.
So that’s what I thought of Lisa Kowalski’s single ‘I Do’ which you can check out on Spotify. And you can support the artist by following her on Facebook and Twitter.
