I had the pleasure of meeting Djana Gabrielle about two years ago now, and I’ve been a fan of her soothing indie/folk music since I first heard it, if you want to read about my first experience with her music then you can check out this review, and while you’re at it you can find out more about Djana herself by reading this interview.
Unrevealed (July) is an instrumental that uses light piano and a soft acoustic guitar supporting it to build up a specific feeling, this track was based on an illustration l by a friend of Djana’s which she felt evoked a sense of mystery and something ‘Unrevealed’ and you pick that up through the track, it’s soft and subtle and leaves you looking for more and that’s what I think Djana was trying to express.
So that’s what I thought of ‘Unrevealed’ by Djana Gabrielle and if you want to hear those tracks for yourself then follow this link to her Bandcamp. And make sure and follow her on Facebook and Twitter to keep up to date with her.
