Single Review: Spray – Anthologised by Cherry Red

Spray single 'Anthologised by Cherry Red' Artwork

Spray are a synth pop duo from Lancashire made up of Jenny McLaren on Vocals and Ricardo Autobahn on Synths.

‘Anthologised by Cherry Red’ has a rolling intro, that builds really well, and the vocals build on top of it like a big ol’ synth castle. Sorry terrible analogies aside, this track is both well paced and full of energy and based just on this all I can say is if you haven’t listened to Spray before then you are not living a full live and I recommend you search out more of their music and make up your mind for yourself. I think what I like most other than the fact I’m partial to synth music is that it has a really simple but really nice hook, and you just find yourself bobbing along to the track.

So that’s what I thought of Spray and their new single ‘Anthologised by Cherry Red’ which you can check out on Bandcamp. And make sure to keep up to date with the band by following them on Twitter.
