Single Review: Saus and The Secret Soulmates – Good Morning People

Saus and The Secret Soulmates are a five piece band from Fife, David Saus is the leader singer, and he formed the rest of the band around him to continue bringing out a very unique brand of music. Today I’ll be reviewing their new single ‘Good Morning People’.

‘Good Morning People’ opens with the clacking of drumsticks, which to me is such an iconic sound but is surprisingly underutilised in modern music, those lead us into a smooth track that had me bobbing along with it from start to finish, I hesitate to say this if feel good music, but it just had this upbeat rhythm to it, and from start to finish it’s like a that first wave of the summer sun, the vocals are a particular highlight, especially when the the vocalists go back and forth, it builds up really well and merges back into the instruments to see the song out. All in all a top notch song and ’m glad I got a chance to listen to it.

So that’s what I thought of Saus and The Secret Soulmates and their new track ‘Good Morning People’ which you can check out on Spotify. And make sure to keep up with the band by following them on Facebook.
