Little Sisters of The Poor is a solo project for Edinburgh based Electronic musician Aidan Harvey, and today I’ll be reviewing his latest release ‘Planets’ which is a collaboration with vocalist Heather Grant.
‘Planets’ opens with a few notes on the piano, which build as the track goes on, and then is kicked up a notch by the amazing vocals courtesy of Heather Grant. This track is mostly slow, but it has this energy about it, that really shakes things up, like you expect it to be really mellow and sometimes it is but the vocals certainly don’t let it rest for long and the instrumental backing helps to give it a little boost when the track needs it. All together this is a really strong piece of music, and I look forward to hearing more from Little Sisters of The Poor.
So that’s what I thought about Little Sisters of The Poor and his new release ‘Planets’ and if you want to check that out then head on over to YouTube. And while you’re doing that why don’t you follow them on Twitter.
