Single Review: This Mankind – Conversations

This Mankind 'Conversation' Artwork

This Mankind are a four piece Alternative Rock band based in Cumbernauld, Scotland made up of Andrew Land on Lead Vocals/Rhythm Guitar, Stewart Wallace on Backing Vocals/Guitar, Fraser Scott on Bass and Callum Anderson on Drums. Today I’ll be reviewing their single ‘Conversations’ which you can check out below.

‘Conversations’ opens slowly, with a soothing little guitar riff that supports Andrew Land’s vocals perfectly, and as the song progresses you just kind of get lost in the song, even when it gets a bit heavier and more things are happening it never quite loses that tone it built early on. I did like the transition from the intro into the song though, it wasn’t too jarring but you do kind of sit up and take notice, and its good in an entirely different way.

So that’s what I thought of This Mankind and their single ‘Conversations’ which you can check out and get for yourself on Bandcamp. And if you want to keep up to date with the band then follow them on Facebook.
